A Delta Airlines plane, a CRJ-900, has crashed while trying to land at Toronto Pearson International Airport after departing from Minneapolis-Saint Paul Airport.
The incident occurred as the plane was making its final approach to Toronto.
So far, 18 people have been reported injured. Two of the passengers are in serious condition and have been airlifted to a trauma center for further medical care. Among the injured, there is also a child who is currently in the hospital receiving treatment. Thankfully, there have been no fatalities.
Emergency crews quickly responded to the crash, helping passengers off the plane and providing immediate medical assistance. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, with aviation experts examining the situation closely.

While it’s too early to confirm exactly what went wrong, it’s believed that the plane may have faced technical issues or possibly adverse weather conditions during its descent.
Airport operations were temporarily affected, but things are beginning to return to normal as the investigation continues. Authorities are working alongside Delta Airlines to ensure that all passengers and crew members are accounted for and receiving the care they need.
