A devastating fire broke out early this morning at Coco Beach in Dar es Salaam, destroying four small food stalls renowned for selling cassava delicacies.
The incident has left affected traders heartbroken, as they grapple with the loss of their livelihoods.
Eyewitnesses reported that the fire began around 5:00 AM, rapidly intensifying as gas cylinders stored in the stalls exploded, fueling the flames. The destruction was swift, reducing the once-bustling stalls to ashes.

Despite the extensive property damage, no injuries or fatalities were reported. The fire brigade’s timely response prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent areas, averting a more significant disaster.
