Hon. Cosato Chumi, Tanzania’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, expressed his gratitude to the attendees. “Your interest in Zanzibar and Tanzania is a testament to the opportunities we have here,” he said. Chumi also encouraged the delegation to explore more of Zanzibar’s regions, underscoring the diverse areas ripe for investment.
Minister Sharifa A. Shariff, representing the Zanzibar government, assured investors of full support. “Zanzibar is open for business. We’re ready to work with you to realize these opportunities and ensure shared success,” she remarked passionately.

The delegation had the chance to visit the Mangapwani Port, a key infrastructure project that symbolizes Zanzibar’s commitment to economic growth. Investors expressed keen interest in the region’s untapped sectors, from tourism to infrastructure development.
