Woman Found Dead in Guest House Room

A woman, whose identity and age remain unknown, was discovered dead in a room at New Samri Guest House in Midizini, Manzese ward, Ubungo district, Dar es Salaam, on July 30, 2024.

According to Abdulkareem Yusuph, the manager of the guest house, the deceased and a male companion checked into the room the previous evening at around 7 PM. Early the next morning, the male guest left the room, leaving the woman behind, seemingly asleep.

Midizini street leader, Asha Mohamed, reported receiving a call from the guest house staff at noon, informing her of the woman’s death. Mohamed immediately contacted the police to handle the situation and retrieve the body.
