Two suspects charged in connection with the tragic death of six-year-old Graison Kanyenye appeared in court in Dodoma on Monday, December 30, 2024.
The case has drawn significant attention, as the young boy’s death has left the community in shock.

According to preliminary reports, Graison, the son of well-known Dodoma businesswoman Zainab Zengo, popularly known as “Jojo,” was tragically killed on the night of December 25, 2024. It is alleged that he was struck in the head with a heavy object while his mother was away on an evening outing.
Reports suggest that Graison’s mother, Zainab, had left for an evening trip, and upon returning home, she discovered her son’s lifeless body. Initial investigations revealed that the child had been brutally hit on the head with a heavy object. Medical personnel confirmed that the injuries caused his untimely death.
Law enforcement officials have been working tirelessly to piece together the details of the crime. According to sources close to the investigation, the two suspects were apprehended soon after the body was found. Though their identities have not been disclosed, police confirmed that they are being questioned and will be formally charged in connection with the death.
