Tanzania is preparing to host the Türkiye-Tanzania Steel Trade Mission 2025 this September, bringing together top Turkish steel exporters and Tanzanian businesses for a day of strategic engagement and business-to-business (B2B) meetings.
The initiative is designed to strengthen bilateral trade and explore opportunities in steel, construction, and infrastructure development.
Organized by the Turkish Steel Exporters’ Association (ÇİB) in partnership with the Turkish Embassy in Dar es Salaam, the trade mission will feature structured B2B sessions, providing Tanzanian companies with a unique chance to meet directly with Turkish manufacturers. These interactions aim to foster partnerships, share industry expertise, and discuss investment and supply opportunities.
A representative from the Turkish Embassy noted, “This mission represents a key step in strengthening Türkiye–Tanzania economic ties. Tanzanian businesses will gain direct access to leading Turkish producers, opening doors to innovative solutions and high-quality products for the local market.”

The mission will include more than 20 delegates from leading Turkish steel companies seeking to expand their presence in East Africa. Attendees will engage in discussions on supply chains, technological advancements, and collaborative projects, with particular emphasis on meeting Tanzania’s growing demand for steel in construction and infrastructure projects.
Tanzanian businesses interested in participating are encouraged to register in advance to secure meetings tailored to their sector and needs. Organizers stress that the mission is not just a trade event but a platform for knowledge sharing, long-term collaboration, and industrial growth in the region.
