Tanzania’s Premier League has slightly dropped to the sixth place from the fifth slot on the list of top ten strongest league in Africa 2023.

Tanzania’s Premier League has slightly dropped to the sixth place from the fifth slot on the list of top ten strongest league in Africa 2023.

South Africa has overtaken Tanzania as the former now occupy the fifth place.

The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS), Thursday announced the new ranking.

Egypt occupies the first place on the continent and is on 20th in the world while Morocco is ranked second and 28th in the world .

Algeria are third and 44th in the world whereas Tunisia and South Africa sit on fourth and fifth places and they occupy on 52nd and 62nd slots in the world.

Tanzania are sixth and 64th in the world while Nigeria, Angola, Zambia and Cote D’Ivoire finish the remaining places and in the world, they are ranked 73rd, 78th, 81st and 86th respectively.
