President William Ruto has urged Africa Harmonising digital policies across the continent will fastrack Africa’s ambition to position itself as the foremost global trade powerhouse powered by the African Continental Free Trade Area Framework.

The official opening of the Connected Africa 2024 Summit, held at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi County, served as a pivotal moment in this journey towards digital integration. Leaders and stakeholders convened to deliberate on strategies aimed at leveraging digital technologies to enhance trade facilitation and economic growth across Africa.

“I wish to emphasise to the global community, and especially financial institutions and private investors that betting on Africa’s future now is the best investment decision with unprecedented immediate and long-term benefits.”

He  officially opened the Connected Africa 2024 Summit, Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi County.
