The Secretary of the National Executive Committee for Ideology, Propaganda, and Training of CCM, Amos Makalla, urged Tanzanians to take action and register to vote in large numbers ahead of the upcoming elections, ensuring a strong victory for the party.
Makalla addressed thousands of enthusiastic supporters, encouraging them to register early and avoid waiting until the last minute. He stressed that the upcoming election is vital for the future of the country and that every eligible voter’s participation is crucial to securing CCM’s success.
“We are ready for this election and we are determined to win,” Makalla said. “It’s time for all eligible voters to get registered, because your vote is vital. Together, we can continue the path of progress that President Samia Suluhu Hassan has set for this country.”
Makalla also took the opportunity to thank the people of Zanzibar for their overwhelming support for the decision made at the special National Congress, where Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan was nominated as the presidential candidate for the Union, and Dr. Hussein Mwinyi for the Zanzibar presidency. He praised their faith in CCM’s leadership and their vision for a better future for all Tanzanians.
During his speech, Makalla highlighted the party’s commitment to ongoing development projects across Tanzania, emphasizing improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and job opportunities. He pointed to these initiatives as proof of CCM’s dedication to ensuring the country continues to grow and prosper.

“We’ve seen impressive progress in many areas, and we are proud of what has been achieved,” Makalla said. “But there’s still much more to do, and we are committed to continuing the work that will take Tanzania forward.”
He also urged the people to stand together and reject leaders who seek to divide the nation. “We need to stay united as we approach these elections, to ensure we build a peaceful and prosperous future for everyone,” he said.
