The Minister for Construction and Member of Parliament for Mkuranga,   Abdallah Ulega joined thousands of residents in Mkuranga District for a special prayer session.

The prayers were dedicated to seeking divine support for President Samia Suluhu Hassan as she carries out her duties, while also asking for peace, unity, and harmony for the nation.

The event, held at the Mkuranga Primary School grounds in the Pwani Region, was attended by a large crowd of citizens from both within and outside the district. Before the prayers, a Maulid (commemorative prayers) in honor of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was conducted in the morning, drawing in several prominent Sheikhs from across Tanzania, including those from Arusha, Kigoma, Kagera, Dar es Salaam, and Pwani regions.

The overarching message during the prayer session was one of peace. Participants were urged to maintain national peace, a theme that resonates with President Samia’s ongoing efforts to promote tranquility across Tanzania. The prayers also highlighted the importance of upholding moral values, with leaders stressing that every Tanzanian has a role to play in safeguarding the nation’s ethical standards for the benefit of all.
