Leaders of ACT Wazalendo in Kiembesamaki Constituency have been urged to maintain unity and solidarity, with party officials describing the two principles as essential to the party’s strength and future success.
The call was made by ACT Wazalendo National Executive Committee member Seif Khamis Mohammed while opening the party’s General Meeting for Kiembesamaki Constituency, held as part of the party’s constitutional requirements.
Mohammed said the strength of any leadership, particularly within a political party that has earned the trust of citizens, depends heavily on the ability of its leaders to remain united and work together toward common goals.
He said ACT Wazalendo supporters had placed significant hope in the party, believing it could provide solutions to the social and economic challenges facing many citizens.
“Once we begin to divide ourselves, we will discourage those who have placed great faith in ACT Wazalendo as their hope for liberation,” Mohammed said.
He stressed that internal disagreements and divisions could weaken the party and undermine the confidence of supporters who expect its leaders to present a united front.

Mohammed also called on party leaders and members of the public to exercise patience and continue trusting the party’s senior leadership in its ongoing political efforts.
“We should be patient and trust our leaders. They are doing a good job, and we should expect positive results from the agreements that have been reached,” he said.
The meeting also received a report on the implementation of party activities in the constituency.
Kiembesamaki Constituency Secretary Rashid Kombo Suleiman said the meeting was legally constituted after attaining the required quorum. He said 52 out of 60 delegates attended the meeting, representing approximately 86 per cent of the total membership.
The high attendance was seen as an indication of strong participation by party representatives in the constituency’s internal affairs.
Mohammed was accompanied to the meeting by ACT Wazalendo Western Region B Secretary Salim Ali Khamis and the party’s National Meetings Secretary, Halim Ibrahim Mohamed.
Party leaders expressed optimism that continued unity, discipline and cooperation would strengthen ACT Wazalendo’s activities in Kiembesamaki and help the party maintain the confidence of its members and supporters.
The call for unity comes as political parties continue to strengthen their internal structures and mobilise supporters, with ACT Wazalendo leaders emphasising that solidarity remains critical to achieving the party’s political objectives.
