Unknown Person(s) Destroy Part of Nana Addo’s Statue

"The people of the Western Region deserve better than these self-serving displays," wrote opposition MP Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah on X, echoing the sentiments of many who feel the statue is misplaced.

 A section of Nana Addo’s statue near the Effia-Nkwanta Hospital roundabout in the Western Region, has been detroyed by an unnamed person or people , with many anticipating the entire statue will soon be pulled down.

The President, who was on a trip in the Western Region, is renowned for having chosen to unveil a statue of himself there last month, which caused a stir. Social media was in a frenzy following the statue’s presentation, with people asking what important act he had done that warranted a statue, with some even questioning why he would place a statue of himself on an unfinished road.

The state apparently stationed a police officer to guard the statue after rumors circulated that some individuals intended to have it taken down. The question of removing the statue resurfaced after the elections, but as of right now, it remains intact, though some of it has been demolished, and its perpetrator is unknown.

Ghana’s outgoing President Nana Akufo-Addo  faced significant criticism on social media after unveiling a statue of himself . According to him ,the statue was intended to honor the development initiatives he has overseen during his time in office .However, many Ghanaians are mocking the installation, which is located outside a hospital in Sekondi, viewing it as an act of “self-glorification.”

“The people of the Western Region deserve better than these self-serving displays,” wrote opposition MP Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah on X, echoing the sentiments of many who feel the statue is misplaced.

Akufo-Addo, will be stepping down in January after two terms as president. Bragging to have  fulfilled 80% of his promises to the Ghanaian people . Despite his claims , Ghanaian overwhelmly  voted him and his party out during the recently held elections to express their displeasure with the extreme hash economic crisis the populace are enduring,

But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?
