JD Vance: Trump’s running mate vows to fight for ‘forgotten’ Americans

The vice presidential candidate selected by Donald Trump vowed in his first speech to fight for working-class Americans, whom he claimed have been ‘sidelined and forgotten’ by Democrats.

Introducing himself to millions of Americans watching from their homes on TV, the humble senator from Ohio in the Midwest harshly criticized those for whom ‘politics is their job,’ like President Joe Biden.

In his speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he argued that Trump was the ‘last best hope’ for Americans.

Trump and his running mate will compete for the ticket to the White House, challenging the Democratic candidate, currently Mr. Biden and his vice, Kamala Harris, in the November election.

Mr. Biden’s X account responded to Mr. Vance Wednesday night regarding his positions on abortion and Ukraine issues.

Mr. Vance, 39, hopes to be one of the youngest vice presidents in U.S. history.
