Rapper and Clouds FM presenter Frida Amani represented Tanzania at the World Youth Summit held in Turkey.
This being the sixth time it has taken place, the NEXT by TRT WORLD FORUM invited youth from various parts of the world, with Africa represented by Tanzania, Somalia, Nigeria, and South Africa. The aim of the summit is to gain a shared perspective on what lies ahead and the roles of youth in different fields.

Frida Amani participated in a panel discussing how art and culture can bring about societal change, alongside Nigerian internet comedian Maryam Apaokagi, known as @taaooma, and @malakmattarart from Palestine.

Frida explained how Hip-hop music can bring about societal change and encouraged all talented individuals to use their skills to make a difference in their communities, including breaking down stereotypes.
“It has been a great time for me to participate in this youth forum as I have learned a lot and gained more insight. I believe I will use what I have learned here for the benefit of Tanzanian youth to bring about positive change in society,” said Frida Amani.
