The European Union’s top diplomat, Kaja Kallas, has delivered a clear and urgent message: now is the time for Europe to show real unity in support of Ukraine as it continues to face the harsh realities of war with Russia.
Speaking amid growing pressure on Ukraine’s economy and military, Kallas stressed that solidarity from the European Union must go beyond words. According to her, what Ukraine needs most right now is consistent, practical support—financial aid, military assistance, and long-term commitment from its European partners.
Her remarks come at a time when Ukraine is navigating one of the most challenging phases of the conflict. Months of sustained fighting have drained resources, stretched military capacity, and placed enormous strain on the country’s economy.
